Tracey, P., Week 3

This week we went on three field trips. One to Tipping Point Communications, the other Pegula Sports and Entertainment and the final one at Watkins Glen which I was not able to attend. The third week was extremely entertaining, visiting the Buffalo Sabres arena was a delight.

The beginning of our field began with going to Tipping Point Communications, a marketing firm in Rochester. Here we learned all about a marketing firm and what struggles they face and how to handle them. We learned about their mission statement and what they hope to achieve.

After we left there we went to Buffalo to take a tour around the KeyBank Center where the Buffalo Sabres play. I enjoyed looking through the arena and seeing what happens on a day to day basis. Learning about the venue and how they prepare really opened my eyes to how hard people work at a arena.
