Awoyemi, F., Week 2

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today i will be discussing about week 2 events. Last week I attended a conference, PRXNE “I love New York” . The conference was fun and very engaging.  The first I attended was social media ethics for the triple bottom line, the second was visual images in PR for global and multicultural audiences while the third one was minimizing major legal risks of social media. What attracted me in each of these were their similarities. All discusses on the proper media ethics locally or internationally also it improved my knowledge about copyright laws. My personal favorite was the conference about multicultural audiences by Arhlene Flowers, being an international student I found this interesting as I find a connection to it.
The side to side documentary, documented various views on the evolution of digital cameras.  This includes its advantage and disadvantages including the loss of filming cameras and the effects of these cameras on consumers. Digital cameras offer special effects that filming camera's lack. Filming cameras do not have the capacity digital cameras have as advantage, as they have limited coloring and they do not give directors  the ability to see the finished product of the ongoing project immediately.  But the question is can these cameras be differentiated ? I was shocked to find out that collateral which is one of my favorite action movies was shot on film camera.

I got to understand how a non profit organization works, and how they make the money through donations and volunteer works. The purpose of this organization is to engage or educate people "visitors" about  beautiful beverages and agricultural products in New York. Can be said to be a I love New York movement. It is an interesting place to be and I would love to be there again, to take cooking classes.
